A Journey Through the Four Archetypes of Male Empowerment

Many men today are seeking to empower themselves and meet the challenges of our modern world in new ways. Working with archetypes presents both an ancient and cutting edge science of consciousness that allows us to understand the depths and functioning of the human personality in profound ways that bestow healing by confronting our ‘shadow’, wounded self while also aiming us toward great potentials experienced as the archetypes expressed in their fullness. The four masculine archetypes of King, Warrior, Magician & Lover provide an excellent map for men to navigate the adversities of their lives and the world and inspiration to foster paths of healthy evolution. Ultimately, the archetypes forge into a dynamic dance, stirring and bringing out the greatest richness of our being. In this 4-week course, participants will be introduced to the four archetypes and be given exercises to embody them and heal wounds in the psyche, such as guided meditation, creative visualization and other vitalizing activities. This can also be modified as a condensed one-off workshop.

In our present era, so many people are disenchanted with social conventions regarding sex and relationship. Sacred sexuality traditions offer some of the most beneficial wisdom for humanity to transform sexual energy into a healing force and to expand our sense of love. In this dynamic workshop, modern sage, Darren Austin Hall, will share perspectives on uplifting and enlightening our sense of sexuality and romance drawing from both ancient and novel wisdom. He will also share practical and safe techniques to amplify sensitivity, open and expand the Heart and advice on how to actualize a sacred sexuality practice in our lives now.

Shaking Medicine

A Shamanic Practice of Ecstatic Movement

One of the revolutionary threads bursting on the health and wellness scene is the whole realm of ecstatic movement and dance. We are beginning to rediscover what our ancient ancestors knew and many present day indigenous peoples know: dance is daily medicine to keep our vitality humming, our energy flowing and to keep a bit of us always a little wild to honour our nature. In this workshop, Darren will be your gregarious guide, taking you through a spirited talk on the ancient threads of ecstatic dance from the San Bushpeople from the Kahalari Desert and many other intriguing stories. We'll then plunge into a cacao ceremony where we'll drink of this nourish beverage  that opens the heart and is the essence of chocolate. Darren will then guide participants through movement and shaking to unblock emotions, rouse our spirits and entice into sacred fun. We'll close with a grounding soundbath with crystal singing bowls.

Sacred Ecology, Reclaiming Indigenousness & the Gaia-Sophia Mythology

The greatest wound facing our species is our separation from nature and a lack of a spiritual connection to the Earth that inspires us to seek harmony with the ecosystem and respect all creatures of this dear planet. The healing of this wound is the great initiation for all of humanity to enter and be positively transformed by. It entails re-evaluating our current mode of living and drawing inspiration from indigenous wisdoms—from cultures that have lived in harmony with the land.

In this offering, I will share profound ecological-spiritual knowledge, both young and ancient, in explorations of spiritual and scientific perspectives on how humanity can restore the sacred balance on this planet and in their own lives. I will also guide meditations and rituals with the therapeutic tones of quartz crystal singing bowls so participants can further embody this wisdom and begin to affirm themselves as part of a united humanity, impassioned to steward great peace to the world—Rainbow Warriors!

The Sacred Heart

Living Vibrationally, Ecstatically and Authentically

The human species has been increasingly awakening to the extraordinary powers of the Heart in fulfillment of what all the ancient spiritual traditions teach us, namely that the Heart is the centre of our being; the place where sacredness is an eternal and alive happening which imbues all of our experiences and relationships with its richness. However, human history has been a long tale of the suppression of this holy centre of feeling, intuition and alchemy, birthing a dominant intellectual culture that has divorced us from our nature and the nature around us with disastrous consequences. As we reclaim this both ancient and innovative way of living from the Heart, we awaken to transformations within ourselves and our whole notion of reality in a great re-enchantment where wonder, magic and passionate purpose are restored as key elements that nourish our lives. It is the great birth-right of all humanity to restore the Heart as our sovereign and guide and, thus, restore a renewed sense of love to the world as essential principle of evolution. Living from the Heart is one of the most important pursuits for our species as we encounter the great challenges of our age and offering us initiations as heroes to restore harmony on our planet.

In this workshop, sacred musician, sound healer and spiritual teacher, Darren Austin Hall, will share ancient and innovative teachings on the power of the Heart drawing from a diversity of healing and spiritual traditions. He will guide meditations, sound healing exercises involving simple vocal chanting, qigong and yogic technique to infuse us all with embodiment of the sacred heart.
