We stand on the precipice
With winged hearts joyful to take flight
The abyss before us shrouded with a mystery

of a mutual dream
of wisdom's reign...
When I contemplate what the new year of 2016 holds for us all, the sentiment that comes to mind is ONE GIANT LEAP. The spiritual awakening that has been rising within our species has reached an unprecedented level—we’ve never witnessed so much consciousness activated, inspired to continue expanding and taking on the great adversities we face as a species. I feel we’ve reached a critical mass and now comes the big leap forward when our collective is infused with a common grounding that will change forever the face of our world and the wondrous world within us all.
When I reflect back upon 2015, I witness a year of old systems escalating in their decay. The Internet alone has been a massive power of truth that has connected us as a species, uniting us as never before. Moreover, it offers the truest form of democracy we’ve ever experienced: a digital commons where all knowledge can be revealed and nothing hidden. Discernment is still crucial to distinguish right from wrong as we are vulnerable to being misled. And yet, as people delve more into meditation and come to grips with the natural intuitive powers of a human being who has moved the leadership of their beingness from the intellect to its rightful sovereign in the Heart, the truth becomes an inner-knowing. We are all being galvanized to be so: our own self-directed teachers and leaders, co-creating with other powerful beings. This is not an easy path by any means, to assert one’s spiritual skills so deftly, and yet one can feel the palpable relief among our species to know that this universal truth is coming clear and that we are being liberated by being slaves to hapless leaders and corrupt systems. As we reclaim as well a more authentic sense of history, we begin to understand the indigenous heritage we all share, even those of the European lot whose indigenous heritage has perhaps been the most hidden in deliberate political knavery. And it is tantamount in almost all indigenous traditions that the human being is just that: a powerful sovereign unto themselves, bestowed with incredible natural faculties to discern, imagine, feel, love, etc. and to stand as a true pillar between Heaven & Earth (here in non-Christian terms) and steward the wisdom from unseen realms into the world. We are bridges between worlds!
I have asserted this for well over a year now in my concerts, workshops, teachings and writings that we are coming clear on some of the most essential things that for long have been relegated to triviality because they were too obscure to define. Things like spirituality, which I’ve been preaching means to honour the one, unifying force that flows through all things (Spirit) and to hone one’s life to be an expression of that unity within our being by healing inner-fragmentation in our psyches and also to seek means to heal such divisions in the greater external world, such as rectifying our relations with the natural environment, overcoming racism, ending war, healing tribal wounds, etc. It is no coincidence that Star Wars is capturing again the attention of millions if not billions of people the world over, affirming this same truth of the force.
It is becoming clear that spirituality is perhaps the most important thing to be developed now in our world for it holds the key to seeing the largest perspective over all things and the sense of wholeness that unites it all together. And yet, the most spiritual cultures have always been destroyed. The last few thousand years of history tell a brutal tale of oppression and suppression of spiritual truth by horrendous tyrannies who, cunningly, co-opted spiritual truths in the name of religion to colonize the world. But now, we have fought and resisted this tyranny to such a degree and freedoms are sprouting with a ferocity untold. As we celebrate this past year, we witness the legalization of gay marriage so love can flow more freely, the increasing legalization of marijuana pointing to a deeper liberation of consciousness through (hopefully) appropriate use of entheogens, the rise of virtuous political leaders such as Justin Trudeau and Bernie Sanders, and so much more. We aren’t yet wholly out of the dark ages but we are getting there and the ecstasy of this victory is becoming so palpable that people are exploding into states of joy and power. We are more safe and free, finally, to practice and live the ways that we were once persecuted for and behind us a legion of ancestral spirits are flooding in to seize this moment and bring all the crazy wisdoms once burned at the stake, raped, sullied, murdered and genocided and unfold them now in this great turning to lift the world into rebirth from the tumultuous death of the old ways of civilization. The ages turn in all of our holy bloodstreams like rivers of cosmic codes.
We also beginning to fundamentally bring clarity to another term that has often been denigrated for being the language of hippies, new agers and other ‘misfits’: divinity or divine. I have also shared in recent years that I feel the greatest definition of being divine is being creative and that humanity is awakening like never before to its powers to create. Humans are also specifically understanding what it means to create or, as my sagacious South African friend Oren would say, ‘imagineer’. With interest in spirituality has come interest in the unseen forces that flow in our lives, including the powers of intention, visualization and empowered thought. We are becoming masters of thought design and learning that that is the essential foundation for creating in the world. As I share in my New Moon circles, we are becoming psychic gardeners: creating powerful thoughts that we realize are then vibrational, energetic creatures that require the constant watering of our loving attention to develop; using wisdom weapons of planning, dreaming journals, visions boards, mantras and positive affirmations to raise the children of our minds right and sturdy to manifest form in the material world.
Moreover, we are awakening to the human collective mind (which is said to exist in a dimension above [the 4thaccording to the profound teachings of Barbara Handclow and her canonical text Alchemy of the Nine Dimensions]). This is a realm we’ve been cut off from through the rigid social mores and laws our modern governments have actualized and why mind-expanding drugs have been made so unlawful and ostracized while damaging substances like alcohol and cigarettes are sold freely. This battle is still being fought and won by the side of the awakening as governments legalize marijuana and psychedelics are being increasingly recognized by the medical establishment as crucial remedies for mental illness (as ancient cultures have always known). Even the mighty TED Talks Forum has been exposed as sanctioned by these corrupt interests in its censorship of Graham Hancock’s essential talk “The War on Consciousness”. As we awaken to the psychopathy at work among our war-mongering leaders and the rampant greed of nefarious banker elites, it’s easy to be cynical and wonder how such ‘evil’ could be transformed? And yet, we can envision as I have seen: massive healing centres where psychedelics could be used to cut through shadow illusions, souls detoxed through highest plant and wisdom medicines, elders opening up divine forces in ritual and ceremonies to offer the miraculous and the new physics of spiritual sciences to help channel the raw force of darkness toward a harmonic dance with the light.
In my own country, one giant leap is already taking place as we emerge from the collective dark night of the soul that the Harper regime represented. Back in the Spring, while on my Sacred Heart tour that took me from Toronto to Saskatoon and back, I recall being in Regina when the NDP party won a resounding victory in Alberta which had seemed highly unlikely even up to election, so entrenched were we in the cynicism of our times. And yet, they defeated the Conservative stronghold and I felt a palpable wave of optimism subsequently rushing across the country. As I remarked on the rest of the concerts on my tour and back in Toronto, it was like the closing of the eye of Sauron and the fall of Mordor in Canada. I predicted then that it was the beginning of a wave of hope that would surely lead to Conservative defeat at the federal election later that year, so immense was that mortal blow to their power.
Not only did Justin Trudeau win a landslide majority but he began quickly to assert the archetypal noble king energy that myself and others felt was utterly bereft from politics. So deep had pessimism run that I was even before the election decrying he was a puppet for shadowy powers and though it remains to be seen as he and the Liberals have been in power a short time, some of their actions have been stunning.
On the night of Trudeau’s victory, I had a dream I was at the victory celebration with him and was anxious to speak to him. I finally did get him alone and I took him sternly by the shoulders and looked into his gentle eyes and told him above all he must rectify the indigenous issue in this country for it is the foundation that when aligned will set forth all the righteous changes needed for Canada to fulfill a prophecy shared to me by a Mohawk elder years ago that Canada (Turtle Island) was to be a place where all the peoples of the world would come to reclaim indigenous wisdom by the leadership of the Red People, the White Race in paramount, for they had been the most harshly severed from their own indigenous heritage. He looked me in the eyes with fierce wakefulness and told me that’s exactly what they’re going to do.
Remarkably, he and his party have gone about that, at least symbolically. It began with his inauguration as Prime Minister commencing with indigenous ceremonial aspects. Then, he held a meeting with over 100 First Nations chiefs, something that no prime minister has ever done, poignantly laying out a five part plan to reset the Canadian government’s relationship with the indigenous of Turtle Island, beginning with an inquiry into the missing women in the West, also decrying that the findings of the Truth and Reconciliation committee and, particularly, the tragic legacy of the residential schools, would become a part of every Canadian’s education. But perhaps more so than any other, he declared that the indigenous would be the ones that would lead us out of the climate crisis, setting forth the foundation for the most powerful vision I had on my sacred heart tour: that in the coming times, there would be a First Nations prime minister and it would be a female chief.
Again, on my Sacred Heart Tour, I witnessed this one giant leap taking place in that every town and city I stopped to perform and facilitate at I was blown away to meet conscious communities like the brazen ones I am connected to in Toronto. I saw that across this country there are bold spiritual communities forming and that moving forward it was time for us all to begin uniting and asserting ourselves as creators of an immense conscious culture to enter into mass consciousness.
What once were dreams are now becoming real. We are living prophecy. It is a time for celebration and revelry, especially as we reclaim ecstatic bonding to the powers of nature, through such things as new and full moon activities and solstice and equinox events. There’s also a growing wave toward living again in rural environments on the land and I too am engaged already in the dreaming stage of such a vision shared by many to have centres beyond cities to nourish the urban with the great restorative peace of being in the country.
We are the government. We are all the prime minister of our lives and our lives affect all. It is time for us all to take one giant leap forward. And you will find not the fear of danger or the peril of misstep but a whole cosmic wave of intention at your back, raising us higher and higher, washing the world with a sense of love that is mysterious for love itself is being redefined as we as a collective walk into its great power like never before with fierce compassion.
Spirituality is becoming mainstream and is helping design a whole conscious culture that is global and like a tsunami. The tsunami is the critical mass. We are within the one giant leap and it’s unstoppable. We all have the potential to be Jedi. We are all born so gifted. Hogwarts is real and the education system will evolve to nourish the magical sense of reality all children rightfully desire. It will not be easy to save the world through these great transformative initiatives but we are finding more heart than ever before for as we look to each of our sides we see thousands and thousands all rising to this purpose as we acknowledge this is what we born to do. And in that acknowledgement, abundant karmic wisdoms are being activated. This is the moment we were born for! There will still be resistance and perilous events but we know now to go first within to transmute our own resistances with great skills of spiritual sciences and love so that when we meet the tyrannies of the mind in ourselves out in the world we will know now how to disarm them with great care and wisdom we’ve set upon ourselves. VISIONING THE SPRING TOUR 2016 :: THE RISING OF THE RAINBOW WARRIOR
On a personal note, I would like to share that I am in the visioning process of developing another Spring Tour this year that will take me from Toronto all the way to BC and back. This tour is shaping to be something truly special and sacred--the sparking of a movement in this country and even the world to acknowledge, further activate and embody a united humanity that honours both the wisdoms of the ancients (particularly the indigenous) and of the present and beyond. I'm calling it The Rising of the Rainbow Warriors Tour with reference to the ancient prophecy espoused by several indigenous cultures the world over: "The Rainbow prophecy, as it has come to be known, refers to the keepers of the legends, rituals, and other myths that will be needed when the time comes to restore the health on Earth. It is believed that these legendary beings will return on a day of awakening, when all people will unite and create a new world of justice, peace and freedom, and they will be named the ‘Warriors of the Rainbow’. They will reteach the values and the knowledge that has been lost in time, demonstrating how to have wisdom and extra-perception, and how unity, harmony and love is the only way forward."
I will be sharing a special concert called Rainbow Warriors Rise! along the way along with a series of workshop devoted to connecting with indigenous wisdom, eco-spiritual perspectives and the path of the sacred heart. I will also be conducting conscious gatherings with ecstatic dance and sharing circles so we can deepen our unity through revelry and big love.
I will soon be approaching yoga studios, centres and communities I connected with last Spring to begin the planning stage. My vision is also to make visits to First Nations communities and reserves to play free sacred sound concerts and seek to meet with community leaders and elders to share ideas. I will also be carrying a sacred talisman to be charged along the journey by the people with the hopes of taking it to the House of Parliament upon returning to Ontario as an emblem of the rising culture in Canada that wishes to address the great environmental crisis in a truly united culture where indigenous and those of us who have immigrated here work in tandem in a sharing of great wisdom to meet the needs of the day and answer our Prime Minister's call for greater indigenous leadership on the issue. I am asking for support if anyone has connections to First Nations communities and leaders and leaders and communities of other cultures and realms who might be interested in this vision and its co-creation. These's a discussion as well to make a documentary film of the journey.
"There will come a day when people of all races, colors, and creeds will put aside their differences. They will come together in love, joining hands in unification, to heal the Earth and all Her children. They will move over the Earth like a great Whirling Rainbow, bringing peace, understanding and healing everywhere they go. Many creatures thought to be extinct or mythical will resurface at this time; the great trees that perished will return almost overnight. All living things will flourish, drawing sustenance from the breast of our Mother, the Earth.
The great spiritual Teachers who walked the Earth and taught the basics of the truths of the Whirling Rainbow Prophecy will return and walk amongst us once more, sharing their power and understanding with all. We will learn how to see and hear in a sacred manner. Men and women will be equals in the way Creator intended them to be; all children will be safe anywhere they want to go. Elders will be respected and valued for their contributions to life. Their wisdom will be sought out. The whole Human race will be called The People and there will be no more war, sickness or hunger forever."
